May 2009: School study enters phase III

The start of phase III marks the entry into the longitudinal survey in the HITEA school study. The longitudinal study, which is carried out in schools in Finland, The Netherlands and Spain, will cover three health assessments including pupils and teachers in the study schools, as well as measure exposures to indoor contaminants. The health study will include in total approximately 540 pupils and 180 teachers in the three countries.
