August/September 2009: HITEA school study completes phase IV
Phase IV in the longitudinal survey of the HITEA school study is conducted in the Finnish, Dutch and Spanish study schools right at the start of the 2009/2010 school term. This study phase includes health assessments – with a focus on respiratory health - in a total of approximately 540 pupils and 180 teachers in the three countries.
The final phase V of the longitudinal part of the HITEA school study will be conducted in early 2010. During that phase, another health assessment will be linked to measurements on exposure to indoor contaminants.
